Welcome to my classroom! Danielle Serna, a graduate of Northern Arizona University, is entering her tenth year of teaching. She began her teaching career in the Casa Grande Elementary School District where she taught third grade and second grade at Palo Verde and Ironwood Schools. After earning a Master’s Degree with a Reading Specialist certificate, Mrs. Serna became a Reading Coach and eventually made her way to the High School level. She has enjoyed teaching at Desert Winds for the past three years. Mrs. Serna’s hobbies include spending time with her two little boys- Andres 2 1/2 years and Vincente 4 months- and scrap booking her family photos.
